Renncora respects the intellectual property rights of creators and rights holders worldwide. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar copyright laws in other jurisdictions. If you believe that content hosted on Renncora infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure outlined in this policy to submit a formal takedown notice. We take all valid notices seriously and act promptly.

How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following:

  • Your full legal name, physical address, phone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g. the original video, image, or audio file, and where it is normally published)
  • A description of the infringing material on Renncora, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (e.g. the URL of the live stream, Reelz video, or specific content)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name constitutes an electronic signature)

What Happens After You Submit

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your notice within 2 business days
  • Review the notice to determine whether it meets the legal requirements
  • If valid: promptly remove or restrict access to the allegedly infringing content
  • Notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed due to a copyright complaint
  • Provide the uploader with a copy of the takedown notice (with your personal contact information redacted where permissible)
04

Counter-Notice Procedure

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was made in error or mistaken identity, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your full legal name, physical address, phone number, and email address
  • Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a Federal District Court in the United States (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Renncora may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notice, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

05

Repeat Infringer Policy

Renncora has a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. Users who repeatedly upload content that infringes third-party copyrights will have their accounts permanently suspended. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our sole discretion when we determine that a pattern of infringement exists, even before the threshold for "repeat infringer" is technically reached under applicable law.

06

Misrepresentation & Abuse

The DMCA imposes liability on any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing (or that content was removed by mistake). If you submit a takedown notice or counter-notice in bad faith, you may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, rights holder, or Renncora. We take abuse of this process seriously and reserve the right to report abusive filers to appropriate authorities.

07

This DMCA policy applies specifically to copyright infringement claims. For other content concerns — including harassment, defamation, privacy violations, or community guideline violations — please use our in-app reporting tools or contact us at support@renncora.com.
